SSIS Tutorials - Merge Transformation || Merge data from two sources

In this tutorial, we will learn " How to merge data from two homogeneous or heterogeneous source" by using Merge Transformation in your SSIS Package. 

SSIS merge works similar way to a SQL join it merges the two or more different sources (Sources can be of same type or different type / heterogeneous) into a single output. SSIS is all about collecting data from different sources, If you want to merge the collected data from different sources then we can use merge component. Merge component accepts only 2 sorted (compulsory) inputs. if there is more than 2 inputs then it best to use Union All transformation component. Also Merge transformation have only 1 output and does not have any Error output.

4. Merge Transformation : Merge the sorted inputs

When you use 100% of your brain

A popular claim that humans use just 10 percent of their brains is far from accurate—but that doesn't mean we use 100 percent of them, either.

First, let me tell you what would happen if we used 80% of the brain. I suppose if we use 80% of our brains, we will be in ICU.

Why? because we use the majority of our brains throughout the day and night And when we use 80%, it means something is wrong and hence ICU.

The truth is that we do, in some ways, use our entire brain. Most people think we use our brains only in maths, physics, logical reasoning, crime mysteries, testing boyfriends, getting girlfriends, etc.

But the fact is that we use our brains for everything. For instance, for reading this answer, walking, judging the speed of a ball, using hands, sensing temperature, etc.

Permit me to elaborate. Suppose you are walking as well as talking on your phone. When the conversation turns important, you unknowingly stop walking.

Guess why? Because you are multitasking. When you stop walking, the load on your brain reduces and it can focus on the conversation that is important.

The brain is a tool, and we have the scope to use it better than we actually do. But that does mean we will start communicating with snakes, if we use our brain's full potential.

We do use the full capacity of our brains. The idea that humans only use 10% of their brains is a ridiculous myth that seems perpetually inaccessible to the light of reality.

The bottom line -  Why is it so easy to believe these myths about the brain?

4. Some of the company emphasis more on his/her Looks rather than a person's capability or Work Experience. They want good looking, Dynamic Personality.

Recruiters specialize in their certain industry areas, so have a good idea of the skill set available on the market at that time and also specialize in reading different peoples personalities and building relationships with people at all levels day in, day out. We know it is not always easy to find a great Recruiter, but we are out there and our job is to match the best candidates with our clients companies/teams and overall specific requirements. It is mostly that HR doesn't understand anything about technologies. Was told once that they don't want to hire people who are not currently working on the specific technology.

Loyalty should be rewarded, not punished

Rewarding the loyal employees should be considered as Investment for long lasting business and revenues. Loyal or not, the driving force for turning up to work every day as an employee is to “earn” a living. If this becomes diluted then so does the drive to stay loyal!. Income should always match the contribution, this is a very simple rule and has nothing to do with loyalty.

Loyalty as a word here does not suit the employees. Infact, it is the hard work and intelligence for which the employers are paid and which they deserve as well. Employers have complete rights to seek opportunities around as they will always look for the same for their career growth and new challenges. At the same time company should pay them as per their efforts and dedication. Employers get paid for their work and dedication. Their loyalty is hard work. If they are not paid well they will leave the company and the company will loose the talent. But the employee will get other opportunities because he always was working hard.

Loyalty may be subjectively seen by bosses where employees may be docile. Nevertheless (s)he may be utterly focused and result oriented. The financial success of employee can be related to  mathematical relation - Directly proportional to highlighting himself as always relevant for him and inversely proportional to time spent indicating the work goals achieved. 

Loyalty is the result of positive actions. Those who continue to be loyal in an unfair reprimand conjuncture must have low self-esteem including fear of losing their job.

There are Organisations or functions or leaders who just prefers to ignore the Long term implication of it. However, sooner or later the outcome is nothing but attrition. And then the whole cost of rehiring and reinstalling an incumbent, would cover up or probably exceed the original cost of retaining a talented employee. Not forget the viral marketing that happens from the unhappy employee for which fresh hiring might also be a challenge.

Organisation try to suck the max out of employee in the name of loyalty. The organization here value a person only if he resigns. Corporate succumbing to employee blackmail is common while caring for the deserving is rare. Trusted people sometimes cannot fetch the result. Good people never smell of the successful life. Only positive attitude people can fetch the positive results. That s power of positive attitude but it s very difficult to find out the positive attitude people. However let s be strong let s be confident let s be positive. They are the key source for upcoming planets , they created that planet so they only able to control that planet . We all should protect them , otherwise alien took over that source from us.

Absolutely an eye opening post for all those who want to take everything from their employees but not ready to give them a justifying salary that would even able to take care of their basic needs. In three years of time span I haven't come across a single Company/Entity/Organisation or a Boss who does realise how important is to satisfy employees with appropriate range of salaries because no matter what most of us are working for MONEY and it's the only motivating factor that make an individual to feel give best outcomes and increase productivity and let's do more attitude for an employer when they see their companies are taking care of them. May be there must be some out there in my Country and I'm unlucky to find one. 

Interview Question - What are your weaknesses?

A good interviewer will ask strong, job-related questions focused on identifying an individual’s emotional intelligence level to evaluate how the candidate will perform in the role but sometimes this type of interview questions are good and sometimes not, it can reveal genius person or idiot ones, it depends on the situation.

A very well known organization that assists with resume', interview and other coaching as part of a severance package told me that interviewers may ask 'what is your weakness', because some people actually answer the question with answers that provide immediate disqualification, such as, 'I tend to be late Mondays because I am a weekend warrior', or 'I despise coming in at the same time everyday and bosses complaining about it'. However, a good interviewer instantly spots insanity without asking about weaknesses.

If it's an employee that conforms with everything they are told to do then this hits the jackpot, especially if the candidates are readily prepared for the questions.

90% of a job is  being able to get along with everyone else; the rest (the actual job) is on-the-job-training, at least in the companies I've worked for, that's been the case. We're not numbers, we're people. Shoot,  we all have weaknesses and does anyone really know where they will be in 5 years? Heck, I could be dead in  5 years! I'd rather have conversations with people and find out if they are easy going and easy to work with; after all, people do business with people. And, are they trainable? If so, they'll probably be an awesome addition to the team.

They don't only asked such stupid questions. They also expect from profesionnals to reply like parrots! It's hilarious and humiliate, at the same time. I have a tendency to want to give smart-assed answers to stupid questions!! I often get really stupid questions or comments in my line of work because I'm a woman. They really click in the smart-ass in me which I do sometimes allow out.

It is unprofessional and irresponsible for recruiters to keep going through the same questions over and over again. It makes no significant sense. Simply hire people, train them and provide them with responsibilities, and watch your company grow.

In India, Black money refers to funds earned on the black market, on which income and other taxes have not been paid. The total amount of black money deposited in foreign banks by Indians is unknown. Some reports claim a total exceeding US$50 trillion are stashed in Switzerland's. Other reports, including those reported by Swiss Bankers Association and the Government of Switzerland, claim that these reports are false and fabricated, and the total amount held in all Swiss banks by citizens of India is about US$2 billion.

The Rs 2000 currency is designed keeping in mind to eradicate the black money issues using state of the art indigenous nano technology, every Rs. 2000 currency note is embedded with a NGC (Nano GPS Chip)

The Prime Minister said that all the 500 and 1,000 denomination notes can be deposited in banks and post offices from November 10 till December 30.

How the embeded NGC Technology Works?

The unique feature of the NGC is it dosent need any power source. It only acts as a signal reflector. When a Satellite sends a signal requesting location the NGC reflects back the signal from the location, giving precise location coordinates, and the serial number of the currency back to the satellite, this way every NGC embedded currency can be easily tracked & located even if it is kept 120 meters below ground level. The NGC cant be tampered with or removed without damaging the currency note.

How will this help eradicate black money menace?

Since every NGC embeded currency can be tracked. The satellite can identify the exact amount of money stored at a certain location. If a relatively high concentration of currency is found a certain location for a longer period of time at suspicious locations other than banks & other financial institutions. The information will be passed on to the Income Tax Department for further investigation.

Think and Grow Rich - Three feet from Gold

A book called "Think and Grow Rich", by Napoleon Hill and there is a story called "Three feet from Gold".

A gold miner owns a mine that is producing a good amount of gold, but after a while, the mine stops producing gold. The miner digs and digs but only find rock for his trouble. Finally, he gives up and sells his mine to a father and son team who sell almost everything they have to buy the mine. Everyone tells them they're crazy, but they are convinced there is still gold in that mine. With the last bit of money they have left, they hire a geologist to find the vein for them. He does. It turns out, the original miner was digging in the right direction. If he had dug three more feet, he would have hit the mother load of all veins. But instead, the father and son end up rich. 

Moral of the story...never give up because you could be just three feet from gold.

Now a days, our lives are going to be very busy due to very hectic daily work schedule and we are loosing ourselves.

Unfortunately Its not true for everyone.Today you give respect, be truthful and honest with the people they will think your weak and treat you as a weak person. They forget that Positive attitude brings positive feedback and Good attracts good. 

Nice simple good behave that express good principles to have better and peaceful life. Still one has to follow such principles no matter how others react.

Always think of what you want to be by thinking also what you want others to do into you . Give and you shall receive, be honest and others will be honest to you . This is what we call Karma in the spiritual sense. What you give is what you get. Let this be your creed and things are going to turn good or bad ,depending on what we do, say or act.

This is true, but you shouldn't give to receive, if it does come back to you then it's a bonus, not an expectation. To gain respect you have to give respect as respecting someone who has been disrespectful is very unfair But to give people things that you don't receive makes you a better and stronger person.

THE WAY our life is bright and beautiful is because of someone else but more is because of the way you feel about it .... positive thinking is what we call it.

You can say that it is the key of success  and provide an identification to you in the society also. Never expect anything in return and you would never be disillusioned. You hold the other end of a relationship. Handle it so skillfully that you come out wonderfully satisfied. 

Positivity brings the happiness which is the most important factor of your life and respect is earned by your attitude and should never be taken lightly. You are only responsible for how and what come out of your mouth. That's it, the Odin falls back to the selfishness of the other.

Remember one thing in your mind that everyone has a right to their perspective. If you feel you are being disrespected, how you behave is your prerogative. Do what you feel is right. It is your call however way you deal you deal with it. 

Respect is something you earn. As a default I respect everybody. If some people show me there is nothing to respect about their nature I take distance and maintain my inner peace. Then they don't have my respect though I say to myself: hope the best for them, walk in peace.

Kindness from the heart is a rare and treasured gift to the person who has it and gives it. let us all embrace the kindness in each other and we will have peace in the world. Make an act of kindness to someone everyday can make a difference. The true fact is that Kindness never hurts. You don't realize the importance of being kind until you are surrounded by unkind people. A kind word, a nice smile goes a long and doesn't cost you a cent. 

It is very amazing thing we have without any cost. Kindness is free but not everyone understands it is always the right time. If people just take time to say one kind word every day to a person it can make a difference. It can save a life or just brighten someones day.

Fed-up
Get fed up and change maybe some magic can happen or some angels will guide you to change for the better. Time to move on and stop feeling like you are stuck between a rock and a hard place. You may stumble a few times along the way, but at least you are moving on. Yes! when you are fed up look for better pastures and move on and you will be surprised your action is always right. If you are waiting around for conditions to be perfect before you stick your neck out, you will be waiting forever. So, go for the good things in life folks. Life is short.

Taking the leap
If you do not take a leap into something thats good for your future, that deep in your soul and instinct is good,then you are throwing away your chances of doing something good in your life,hoping that something else may come along one day, that may not happen, so, take that chance who nows what could happen? In fact there is no comment, because your knowledge is your power to have a courage to try believe in your self and have faith!.

Taking the leap in anything is hard to do, if it's a relationship then it takes communication, trust and belief from both people to take the leap together. Not waiting for perfect conditions, only possible conditions, that's life you take chances You grow and learn by taking chances. why not now? because if not now ultimately there's a very good chance, you "ll be saying "why didnt I? Trust me when I tell you. trying and failing is much less painful than the regret of not trying at all. Just be sure you don't leap from the frying pan in to the fire! It takes a lot of courage to make that leap. Once done the relief one feels is amazing!

Many, who are prone to experimenting, do it guilt-free as long as they're meeting "responsibilities" in the domestic space but the fact is desire for extra-marital partner is natural one and this desire is common both for men and women. However, sexual desire for multiple partners is one feeling humans are still struggling to shrug off from our beastly nature.

They are two different traits. Further, A women as well does not like a man who is womanizer and involved in infidelity. She better like one who give her respect, dignity, and support and does not make her as prostitute. Our hostile mentality would not see any good thing. Males maybe polygamous by nature but they are not animals, they need to have a strong will power and self-control to lead a happy and contented married life.
