The Real Secret To True Happiness Is Easier Than We Think

“An amazing thing happens when you get honest with yourself and start doing what you love, what makes you happy. Your life literally slows down. You stop wishing for the weekend. You stop merely looking forward to special events. You begin to live in each moment and you start feeling like a human being. You just ride the wave that is life, with this feeling of contentment and joy. You move fluidly, steadily, calm and grateful. A veil is lifted, and a whole new perspective is born.”

~Jes Allen

I always trust that true happiness is very easy as we think in our life. I read a lot of things and thoughts about true happiness but I like the most beautiful and suitable definition of it as Be honest with yourself and others.
If anything you are doing in life is not what you should be doing.... stop.Life is way too short to continue in the wrong direction, but the longer that you do, the less time you will have to travel in the right direction.
The above thoughts are rights, never too late to turn your life around, do what you want too, not what someone else thinks you ought to do, your the one that has to be happy with what you choose.
This is so true, when you have no one to hold you to love you as the Bible says as God loves his church, a man should love his wife, hold her comfort her, not let anyone come between them , to be one, the devil works really hard to break you apart !

The one thing that i find difficult about living in the moment is that the moment ends. When something is wonderful and enjoyable and brings you happiness I do not want it to end. That is why I find it hard to live in the moment. I have had such dark and tragic times that when the good happens i want to hold on to it and never let it go because Life is full of changing times, you need to take the Good with the bad!!

I'm sharing the different views of the happiness here. These  views are not similar to person to person. As we know that every person has his own thinking area and has a different mind set to view the things which are around him.

There are many ways to bring happiness in others life too such as -

Helping people that won't help themselves and why because maybe the way they have decided to live is what makes this people happy. Even if for the slightest chance we might think they need help. In this world it is good to feel sorry for no one. We would help more if we let people go through their own ups and downs that life might throw at any given moment to let them either grow or just stay stuck in a continuously cycle. Cut the umbilical cord and let them grow up and be responsible for change. More people would learn from their own experiences and then be able to know what it is to have or enjoy life without shame. Until you work, study, for what you want to obtain anything that might make you happy. It is when all will be filled with the correct sense of pride

Happiness in every-once life - It can work for the better if believe in showing them and telling them what's in-store for them at the end.  Necessary for your sake and theirs, he finally came to his senses and returned home, his father welcomed him with open arms. People grow at different paces. Maybe paths will cross again maybe not but focus on your growth not others.

"You have to love and respect yourself to have good relationships in life. Otherwise you will give up what you most want for what you don't want but believe is all you deserve."

-Doe Zantamata

Approve yourself and forget who disapprove you - This is the simple way to make you live happy. Pleasing others never end well. Usually they are never pleased, because they need to please themselves, not you. Its what you are doing finally took you long enough and its scary but you have a terrific support system patience and acceptance words to live by. When you reach a certain point that you need a change, you cant look back. You have to move on.  It will be a hard journey but you will be in a safer and happier place.

Acceptance of Truth -People certainly need to be accountable for their actions and holding someone accountable for their bad behaviour is necessary, which truly is why we need to be responsible for our own actions regarding that bad behavior. Understanding that you can't fix someone else and walking away from abuse for example, is often the first step in taking responsibility for your life, not blaming them for hurting you any longer, realizing you have choices and taking responsibility and using your power to make one, rather than blaming the other guy. Accept them as they are, and stay or go.  Acceptance of truth being the first step in being responsible for your choices and not blaming.

What is self improvement?

What is self-improvement?

It is an inner process, aiming for a better, happier life. It is a process of inner change, adopting a positive mindset, getting rid of negative habits, and building new, positive ones.

People are beginning to understand that self-improvement and self-growth can improve the quality of their lives.

Self - Improvement is nothing but its simple way to understand yourself, discover your limit. In this way, People are able to prepare themselves physically and mentally as well as spiritually to achieve our life purpose.

This is the term where people can uncover their passion and purpose of their life. They can set the target of their life to maintain their financial problems. If people understand this term then they can manage their life as well as career stresses;

They can easily find out the loose points in their job or business. They are able to grow their social and professional network to recover their losses.

They are able to maintain their relationships with a partner, close friends, family and the society also. This is the way where people can make their life more beautiful and purposeful.

The Self Improvement Plan

Take a significant problem, which really troubles you. Bring the different viewpoints within your mind about this problem out into the open. Write down a bullet list of the issues, which describe this problem. Enter the points in the cells of a column in a spreadsheet.

1.       Listen carefully to your mind and write every thought down. You will soon empty your mind concerning this particular issue.
2.      The most difficult to draw out are those intolerable fears in the back of your mind. Write them down. Acknowledging their existence will have a calming effect.
3.      Once your list is completed, enter your judgment of each bullet point in an adjacent cell in the spreadsheet. It could be “fact,” “fear,” “possible action,” etc. Your judgment is your common sense view, which labels each bullet point. You will find that many bullet points will fit a particular label.
4.      Now, sort the spreadsheet, using the labels column. You will get an organized, common sense view of this major problem in your life. Bringing out and viewing your hidden fears will calm your mind.

Not everyone has perfected public speaking. In fact, many people fear it. Everyone has the potential to speak well, and it is just a matter of practice, training, and unleashing potential. A public speaking class can be very beneficial to anyone that wants to enhance their speaking skills.

The Dark Side of Tourism

Tourism helps the visitors get acquainted with the culture, customs, language and way of life of the local people. The modern life of Indian people are very complex. Tour and holidays brings the much-need relaxation to our mind, body and soul. It refreshes our body and gives back our fitness. The spirit of happiness becomes visible on our beaming faces.

"The fact that television and tourism have made the whole world accessible has created the illusion that we enjoy intimate knowledge of other places, when we barely scratch their surface. For the vast majority, the knowledge of Thailand or Sri Lanka acquired through tourism consists of little more than the whereabouts of the beach."
— Martin Jacques

Disadvantages of Tourism

Tourism may cause disruption in socio-economic, cultural setup of a country.Tourists often cause environmental damage, with things like pollution and forest fires. Even if tourists behave responsibly, the sheer number of the them can cause problems. Things like ancient buildings, monuments and temples often struggle to cope with the vast amounts of tourist traffic and suffer wear and tear, or damage.

It may also lead to environmental hazards such as environmental pollution due to use of cigars, plastic bags.

In order to attract more tourists and earn more profits sprawling resorts are built cutting down thousands of casuarinas trees beside sea beaches. These resorts destroy both scenic beauty of the place by paying no attention to local architecture and ecology. Tourism jobs are quite commonly seasonal and insecure with no extra benefits, such as pensions, sick pay, or health care. Some areas can be inundated with visitors during busy times, and then virtually deserted for many months.

As a result of indiscriminate construction of high rises provision of water supply and waste disposal facilitate many fatal ends. The commercialization of culture can undermine the soul of a tourist destination. Local traditions that have a rich cultural heritage are reduced to wearing costumes and putting on acts for the tourists in return for money.

Overuse of natural wealth is a serious problem, tourist overuse of mountain trails resulting in abundance in dumping of waste products, food tins etc.

Damage to wildlife parks is a visible phenomenon, ground vegetation remain devastated under tourists’ shoes, food habits of animal impaired ultimately landscape loses scenic beauty.

Tourism may have damaging socio-cultural effects. Local people demean themselves to earn more or imitate alien culture, new life styles, foreign culture.

Once the natural beauty and manmade beauties are lost tourism loses its charm and attraction and will collapse. So today environment friendly or green tourism are being introduced by tourism industries.

Health tourism (traveling to get medical procedure at lower cost) has it own set of unique challenges, which include: Determining the credential, skills and quality of the facility and personnel. Language communication challenges on topics requiring a lot of details, sometimes even when both parties seemingly speak the same language. Different cultural issues and expectations around health care and the body.  Post-treatment complications, after the "tourist" has left the facility.

So we should keep tourism within planned limits and try to avoid ecological imbalance and health hazards. Tourism must not play havoc with traditions and protected societies. New technique, high-teach communication may bring cultural setbacks, degradation to preserved communities.

Tourism can create an imbalance where it becomes so successful that other forms of income generation are neglected and an economic dependence on tourism forms. This is fine in the good times, but can leave the country vulnerable to economic ruin, if it suffers political upheaval, terrorist attacks, or natural disasters, and tourism consequently dips or dries up altogether.

Importance of Tourism in the Global Economy and International Affairs

Importance of Tourism in the Global Economy and International Affairs

For tourism-dependent countries and destinations, tourism’s share of GDP can exceed twice the world average. Tourism has become an important sector that has an impact on development of country economy. The main benefits of tourism are income creation and generation of jobs. For many regions and countries it is the most important source of welfare. The ability of the national economy to benefit from tourism depends on the availability of investment to develop the necessary infrastructure and on its ability to supply the needs of tourists. Albania has a touristic potential for development of seaside tourism and other alternative forms of tourism. The scope of the paper is to present the impact of tourism on economy and especially on income.

Travel is costly. Historically, only wealthy individuals could afford to travel abroad, and they tended to travel to affluent countries with quality tourism infrastructure and services. Not surprisingly, Europe and North America have been the largest sources and recipients of international tourists. A trip for any visitor has to be trouble free. With telecommunication network so strong it has become easy for a foreign visitor to have a pleasurable stay. Taxi cabs, translation books and a dependable guide make the trip interesting. The hygiene conditions in the areas are improving and the well maintained hotels and tourist sports are an all around attraction.

The Asia-Pacific region has seen—and will continue to see—the fastest growth. The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) predicts that international tourism arrivals will grow by 3.3 percent per year between 2010 and 2030 and reach 1.8 billion total arrivals by 2030.

Tourism’s market share in emerging countries is predicted to rise to 57 percent by 2030, compared to 47 percent in 2012. The challenge of how to direct the economic benefits of tourism to the world’s poorest areas and populations, however, remains.

Medical Tourism has increasingly gained popularity among highly industrialized countries like the United States. Varying reports containing medical tourism statistics put the number of American patients seeking healthcare abroad between 500,000 to 750,000 in 2007

As travel barriers have gradually lowered, international tourism has flourished—but not without its criticisms. Public awareness of tourism’s potential negative spillovers has increased. In recent years, the aviation industry’s contribution to global climate change has become a highly publicized and contentious global issue. Many hotels have multi cuisine to accommodate the choices of foreigners who generally kind the Indian food very spicy. Tour operators are very systematic with their plans. Complete details about weather conditions, clothes required and facilities are given to the tourists to help them prepare for a holiday.

According to the World Travel and Tourism Council, Indian tourism revenue grew 6.9 percent to almost $42 billion in 2010 despite a global recession. This compares to a worldwide tourism industry that remained flat during the same time period. Domestic tourism fueled much of the growth as Indians increasingly visited other areas of their country, but international arrivals also played an important part in the industry's expansion. Just over five million international tourists arrive in India annually (2009), and while that represents less than 1 percent of total worldwide international travel, tourists to India spend almost twice as much as the average international tourist.

Tourism brings money into a country. If you pay to fly, let's say, to Jamaica, here's what happens. Jamaica needs an airport to receive flights. Building an airport gives hundreds of people jobs, because construction workers are needed to perform the fabrication. Then there are thousands of people who get jobs to run the airport. Once you and your friends (and thousands of other people) start flying in to Jamaica, hotels are needed.

Views of the Tourism

Marketing of the enjoyable and other features of a travel destination, and provision of facilities and services for the pleasure travelers (tourists) is know as tourism.

Tourism is travel for recreation, leisure, religious, family or business purposes, usually for a limited duration. Tourism is commonly associated with international travel, but may also refer to travel to another place within the same country.

Tourism is an important, even vital, source of income for many countries. Its importance was recognized in the Manila Declaration on World Tourism of 1980 as "an activity essential to the life of nations because of its direct effects on the social, cultural, educational, and economic sectors of national societies and on their international relations."

Different Views of the Tourism-
Tourism is a place that gain more knowledge from different cultural background.

Tourism is a temporary movement of people from their original environment to the place of interests or destination for the specific reasons and different purposes more than 24 hours.

Tourism deals with traveling to a new and different place for pleasure, for getting to know new places, for increasing your knowledge by learning a new culture, history and so on.

Tourism for is not only to travel and enjoy but to explore, and gain knowledge from different culture, country and places.

Tourism is mainly for leisure or pleasure or adventure. This would like a more elaboration on how business comes in the definition of tourism.

TOURISM DEFINED
T - totality of services required by tourists,
O - objective to experience and enjoy,
U - uniqueness of an undisturbed environment,
R - resting place complimented with activities,
I - income is generated from infrastructure,
S - sustained services rendered by persons,
M -motivated to nurture and preserve the natural resources, in order to pamper people of today and the future.

Tourism is different from travel. In order for tourism to happen, there must be a displacement: an individual has to travel, using any type of means of transportation (he might even travel on foot: nowadays, it is often the case for poorer societies, and happens even in more developed ones, and concerns pilgrims, hikers …). But all travel is not tourism.

Three criteria are used simultaneously in order to characterize a trip as belonging to tourism. The displacement must be such that;

  1.     It involves a displacement outside the usual environment: this term is of utmost importance and will be discussed later on;
  2.     Type of purpose: the travel must occur for any purpose different from being remunerated from within the place visited: the previous limits, where tourism was restricted to recreation and visiting family and friends are now expanded to include a vast array of purposes;
  3.     Duration: only a maximal duration is mentioned, not a minimal. Tourism displacement can be with or without an overnight stay. We shall discuss the particularity of in transit visits, from a conceptual and statistical point of view.

NGO - Non-governmental organizations

Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)

They have played a major role in pushing for sustainable development at the international level. Campaigning groups have been key drivers of inter-governmental negotiations, ranging from the regulation of hazardous wastes to a global ban on land mines and the elimination of slavery.

NGO activities include, but are not limited to, environmental, social, advocacy and human rights work. They can work to promote social or political change on a broad scale or very locally. NGOs play a critical part in developing society, improving communities, and promoting citizen participation.

NGO characteristics
NGOs are defined here as non-membership development-oriented organizations. They provide services either directly to the rural poor or to grass-roots membership organizations, and with the local branches of international NGOs that enjoy varying degrees of autonomy. They are therefore distinct from (but, as discussed below, often linked with) formal and informal membership organizations such as farmers' associations.
But even within this definition, there exists wide diversity of origins and philosophy. Some NGOs were set up by left-leaning professionals or academics in opposition to the politics of government or its support for or indifference to the prevailing patterns of corruption, patronage, or authoritarianism. Some are based on religious principles, others on a broadly humanitarian ethos, and yet others were set up as quasi-consultancy concerns in response to recent donor-funding initiatives.
Some NGOs reject existing social and political structures and see themselves as engines for radical change; others focus on more gradual change through development of human resources (usually through group formation) to meet their own needs or to make claims on government services; yet others focus more simply on the provision of services (e.g., advice, input supply) largely within existing structure

The Role of NGOs in Modern Societies.
Increasingly, the existence of NGOs is proving to be a necessity rather than a luxury in societies throughout the modern world. I believe that the history of the 20th century persuasively demonstrated the inability-of the welfare state and free enterprise to create just and sustainable societies. Prompted by the inadequacies of the state and the market, citizens across the globe have developed organizations of civil society – NGOs – to help address a wide variety of social needs.

Role of NGOs in increasingly interdependent world
As globalization proceeds and the world becomes increasingly interdependent, the decisions of global civil society groups have increasing significance in our daily lives. They give expression to citizen concerns, hold governments and multi-national corporations accountable, promote community, address unmet needs, and improve the quality of life. the impact of global civil society abound -
  1. The international ban on the use of landmines was ushered in by a dedicated group of international NGOs
  2. Much of the progress made on combating the spread of HIV/AIDS can be attributed to civil society.
  3. And, if we are to save our planet from global warming, I am certain NGOs will help lead the way.
Generations of NGOs
Many of the large international NGOs such as CARE, Save the Children, and Catholic relief Services began as charitable relief organizations, to deliver welfare services to the poor throughout the world. Relief efforts remain an essential and appropriate response to emergency situations that demand immediate and effective response. But as a development strategy, relief and welfare approaches offer just a temporary alleviation of the symptoms.
